Can you cry under water?
How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered?
If money doesn’t grow on trees then why do banks have branches?
Since bread is square, then why is sandwich meat round?
Why do you have to “put your two cents in”… but it’s only a “penny” for your thoughts”? Where’s that extra penny going to?

I guess I’m getting old now. The weeks and months are passing me by. Didn’t I just come back from Christmas vacation? I’m back in the swing of things at work and been doing pretty much the same thing every day. It’s weird to not have any responsibility in the evenings. I’m used to the pressing call of the school books, but now that I’m done with that, all I have to do at night is take the dog out, watch TV, play on the computer (i.e. redesign my website 2000 times), and get frustrated by one of my video games. Have I said that I’m thinking about graduate school because those video games are just too hard? I’ve assigned myself some “self-improvement” reading which has been difficult to get started because I’m the only policeman and I usually just let myself off with a warning. But anyway, this month has gone by pretty fast.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say, I saw The Butterfly Effect last Friday night. I thought it was a great movie. I’ll be buying it when it comes out on DVD.
It’s been a while since there were so many movies in the theaters that I want to see. There’s…
Along Came Polly
Big Fish
50 First Dates
I’ll probably look back at this post in a month or two and think, “why did I want to see that?” or I’ll forget to see them and then forget that I wanted to see them and then never see them when I go to Blockbuster. That’s the way it usually goes.
Also, I am going wireless now. I found this router at Office Max for $89.99 with a $20 Mail-in rebate. After three or four hours of fiddling with it, I finally got it working and now I can take my computer 10 feet into the bedroom or 15 feet into the bathroom and still do my incredibly important work on the Internet. I rock!

Here’s a post for you to comment about my redesign. I’m sure someone will say something like “Hey, didn’t you redesign that thing last month!? What’s wrong with you? Are you some kind of girl or something?” and to that I’ll say, “Yeah, nothing, and NO, but … I was getting tired of the BRIGHT ORANGE website. So, anyway, the UPS man just delivered my new DVD writer so maybe I’ll play with that tonight. I also picked up my diploma from the college today. It was an “anti-climatic” event. I expected bells and whistles and some king of confetti to fall from the ceiling tiles, but none of that happened. So sad. They just handed it to me and I filled out some questtionaire that I barely read. It had something to do with how good they taught me. I think they done pretty well. Anyway, while I’m at it, check out the new Strong Bad Email.

When I arrived home today from my Christmas vacation there was a package in the mailbox. It was addressed to Sarge Griffith and was from Santa Claus. Among other things, it contained this. So, thank you Santa Claus, but for some reason whenever I put them on Sarge he started running into walls and acting weird choking in championship games.
but they did do better than OSU

I hope you have a good 2004. Mine’s starting out pretty good. 2 and a half hours into it and I’ve lost 30 pounds, quit smoking, drinking, and buying knives from QVC.
