Godfather
I’m going to be the godfather of Shane’s child. Do you think that’s funny? Am I clown to you? Do I make you laugh? Yeah, Shane is going to have a child AND he’s getting married. That’s what that one post was about. Yeah, I thought it was kinda weird at first, but I’ve seen Shane and Cat together and the are very happy and I’m happy for them. Congratulations to both of them. That’s not “Cat” in the above picture. That’s some other chick. I think her name is “Britney” but we like to call her “Christina”. Just kidding, that’s really “Catherine” (sp?)
I looked up the responsibilities of a godparent on the internet. I needed to know. I don’t want to agree to something that I don’t know how to do. The main gist of it is to be a good role-model and give them candy. Hey, I can do that! It’s just like being a grandfather except I’m younger … and don’t have any kids of my own. Maybe every once in a while I’ll have someone whacked when they disrespect the family.
I enrolled in graduate school the other day and I spoke with an advisor today and planned out the next two years of my life. Barring any unforeseen delays, I will finish the same month that I separate from the Air Force, July 2006, but I know there will be road blocks. I think that I am going to get an assignment somewhere else soon and I know that I’ll have at least one more 3 month deployment to deal with.
One last thing, my graduation from Southwestern will be May 8 in Winfield, KS.
