At Courtney’s thing

We went to Butler County Community College for Courtney’s show choir performance. I was really impressed with all the kids (high school and college). What I thought was funniest, was (is it was or were?) the MCs. They would come out between the performances and introduce the next performance. The guy was super fake tanned with dark spiked up hair. He looked like a pretty funny guy to hang out with, but nevertheless. The girl was really pretty and dressed like she was from the 80s. They’d come out and kind of play off one another. The first time they came out, he says to her, “You know, you look really wonderful tonight” and then she says “thank you” and starts to introduce the next act and he’s standing there with a sheepish look … “what about me????” … “you look fine, annnyway, here’s our next act.” The next time they come out, he says, “you know, I was going to wait, but this is just too funny, a skeleton walks into a cafe and orders a cup of coffee … and a mop”, “I don’t get it”, “A skeleton can’t hold coffee, so he’s going to use the mop to … nevermind, our next act is …” I told Michelle, “I know how that feels.”

I considered removing this after I looked at the picture, but it’s a little funny. For me at least.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

I love my mother. There is no other mother like her. She has always been there and is always on my side. She has used her influence to make me a better person and even though I have sometimes most of the time not followed her directions she has still given me the benefit of the doubt. She still picks me up when I’m down and I’ll always be her son. Thank you mom.

I’m sorry I didn’t call you on your birthday to specifically say it. I knew it was your birthday. You told me the day before. :-)
