One time, while driving in a caravan with a group of college students, I remember we had walkie talkies. It was late into the night. I was driving a van and feeling particularly snarky I suppose. I get on the walkie and ask, “Do you think when we die that there’s a time when we sit next to God and just go over our lives in great detail. God pauses the 360 degree view that we have of the “past” and we talk about the details of what is happening. There’s no embarrassment. There’s no pain. Only just calm discussion of life. Do you think we’ll have to also watch these times when we’re just drivin’ or can we fast forward?”

I heard some laughs in the back of the van.

I’m not sure I said ALL of that. The joke had to have been shorter, I’m sure.
