New Phone
About a month ago, I lost my phone. I only had it for a year and I lost it. It was a pretty good phone. The best at the time that I bought it, but it was quickly getting behind the times as most electronic “toys” do. It’s the same ole’ story. As soon as you get your new toy home, there’s something newer and better. Anyway, I lost this phone that used to be pretty good. It’s weird that I lost it because I’m usually really meticulous about keeping up with my things. I hate not knowing where everything is, but I digress. At the time of the loss, I had an older phone. I decided to use it. It was a bad phone. It didn’t have a large memory. It didn’t even have a vibrate mode. It just rang and blinked. I had also misplaced the recharger for it. I bought a new one, but only the one that plugs into the car. I was too cheap to spend another $20-$30 on a wall charger. I mean come on! The phone wasn’t even worth that much to begin with. I got it free when I signed up with what was then Voicestream. Anyway, I digress again.
Today, I finally got tired of plugging the stupid old phone in the car charger and bit the bullet and bought a new phone. I haven’t recieved it yet, but I’m really excited. I’ve been seeing a lot of TV commercials for these phones that can send and recieve pictures and while it looked pretty cool to be able to send a picture to another phone I’m looking forward to sending pictures by email and to the Internet. I’ve already got a place to put the pictures when I get the phone and I got the Internet service added to my cell phone service. I’m pretty excited about it all. Can’t you tell? You’ll hear more later.

IQ Test
I took an IQ test. I scored 124 which puts me a little above average. I’m just smart enough to do math and write papers and graduate college. Yep, that sounds about right.

Old People
As I was leaving the apartment complex yesterday, I passed an older couple struggling to get a TV box out of their car. I was in a hurry, but neverthless, I thought it was a good idea to back the car up and give them a hand with what looked like a big project for two gray-haired people. As I got out of the running car sitting in the middle of the street, I asked the man if he needed help. He didn’t understand so I repeated. He had the box on a dolly and he kind of looked at me funny and said, “sure, if you could just break that over for me I can get it.” so I proceeded to help him get the box up on top of the wheels. It was then that I realized the box was empty and that my good deed was really just an embarrassing situation.

I’m going to be an uncle
Congratulations Cory and Cindy. I think that’s great that you’re going to have a baby!
In honor of this event and the fact that it’s almost your one year anniversary, I’ve put the pictures from your wedding here.
My friends, Julie and James, are building a house. Julie and I went there yesterday and took some pictures.
I’ve also put some historical photos here for friends and family (and anyone else) to look at.

Stuff This Week
1. I “had to” buy a new computer last Monday. My other computer melted. I don’t know what happened. It just stopped working (i.e. shut down by itself) and when I pulled it out of the cabinet it was really hot. Therefore, I think that it ruined the motherboard or processor. I bought a bare-bones system from a computer store. It’s pretty awesome.
2. I found an Easter Egg on the Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me DVD. It might have been pretty obvious, but I never looked for it. All you have to do is go to the Special Features menu, then do nothing. You have to wait about a minute and the Dr. Evil space ship will appear and leave the evil icon. If you click that then you can watch a Dr. Evil documentary.
3. Friends Season 4 is coming out on DVD. I wonder how many of the seasons will be released on DVD. I think it’d be great if all of the seasons are released. Now, they need to start releasing Seinfeld on DVD.
4. I watched Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets last night. I feel asleep and didn’t understand a lot of it. I didn’t even know what they meant when they said “muggle.” Finally, I figured it out. That’s what they call “humans.”
5. I rented Jackass the Movie last weekend. I didn’t like it at all. It was TOO gross. I don’t think of myself as weak-stomached, but I couldn’t watch some of the vomitting. I also rented “Big Trouble” with Tim The Tool Man. It was based on a book written by Dave Barry of the same name. I read the book a couple years ago. The movie was pretty dumb, but the book was hilarious.
6. Mother’s Day is coming up soon. Happy Mother’s Day to everyone. I’m looking forward to a trip to where the wind comes sweeping down the plain to see my mother and grandmother and anyone else who I run into.

Stupid Playstation 2
Anyone want to buy my Playstation 2?
I’m so tired of getting my a** kicked. It has to be the game because I’m a relatively smart person. I don’t remember what I made on the ACT and I didn’t take the SAT, but one time I took an Internet IQ test and it said I was pretty smart, but nevertheless, I can’t play my Playstation 2. Evidently, I can’t control Spiderman well enough to kill the bad guys. They keep shooting me and I’m not skilled enough to stop it. It’s terrible. I’ve had the Spiderman game for nearly a year and I’m still on the first level! I can’t even get to Uncle Ben to save him from the bad guy that’s inevitability going to kill him. It’s so sad. I own other games, but I lack the “patience” and “self-discipline” it takes to be successful even at a stupid video game. I like ATV Off Road Fury only because it’s got cool music. I can turn the stereo up loud and make believe I’m tearing up the country side with a cool sound track. The Simpson’s Road Rage is also pretty funny, but I’ve grown tired of it. Finally, DOA 2 Harcore is pretty awesome, but without someone to play with the fighting games are boring also.
Therefore, I should just get rid of my blankedy blank PS2, but I won’t for the same reason that I still wear cologne. I still possess a shred of hope that I’ll meet a nice girl as well as I still possess a hope that one day I’ll sit down and beat that stupid game or at least the first level.
